I have an old ati card from a 10 year old prebuilt and I posted with that. I shouldve checked the bios but I'm not home right now, will check when home sorry about that.

Ok so my bios is E7B86AMS.120 from 9/21/2018

That is kind of old, and I can't find it in their list of bios versions. You may flash a recent version which should offer improved PCIe-compatibility. The rx5700XT offers up to PCIe4.0? There's a good chance your computer doesn't know how to handle it yet.

Ive had it for about a month now but i guess it caught up to me

Is this the very driver-update? Or are the similarities just coincidence? Does it actually flash the cards with a different bios, effectively killing it under certain conditions? Questions, questions...

For now I can't help it but to declare the card dead. There are ways to revive bricked cards but it is not really simple nor does it work when the card isn't recognized.

Very similar stuff, i might run both of my cards and see if i can roll it back
